About

What is Wesaturate?

On this site, you can view, share, and download free RAW and JPG photos. This is a place for photographers and anyone who likes photos. Go to the home page to start downloading or go to the Join page to start sharing!

What can I do with the photos I download?

Anything you want. The RAW and JPG files that you download from Wesaturate are licensed under Creative Commons Zero. This means that you can edit them, put them on your website, use them in a presentation - anything you want.

Why am I limited to uploading 2 photos a day?

We want to make sure that you are uploading quality work on this site. We don't want Wesaturate to be a file storage service. This is a place for high-quality photos that you want to share with the world. If you do need file storage, Dropbox is pretty cool (we use them at Wesaturate).

Can I change my username?

Yes! Your username can be changed in the account page.

I don't see my photo on the New page. Why?

We personally go through every photo that is uploaded to the website and decide if it fits our standards for the New page. Here are a few tips to getting your photos approved:

  • Photos must be high-quality (both in image quality and composition)
  • Photos may not contain nudity
  • Photos may not contain graphic/disturbing imagery
  • You must own the rights to the photos you upload

How do I get my photos on the Best page?

We choose the best of the best when it comes to the Best page. We choose an average of 20 photos a week to be on the Best page. You'll get an email if your photo gets featured on the Best page!

I don't want to upload my RAW file. Can I still share my photos?

Yes! Uploading a RAW file is optional (there is a Skip button on the Upload page when you're asked to upload a RAW file). Even if you don't want to share your photos, you can download as many photos as you want.
